6 Hot Trends for Fall 2010
Chanel Fall Fashion. I liked this runway look because it is comfortable and easy. Trends: A sheer circle skirt, or brocade pencil skirt, short sleeved jackets, and these amazing slouchy, healed boots that obviously you can wear with anything!
Chloe Fall Fashion. Very Vintage. I love the silk flowing blouses with the ties at the neckline. These blouses are back from the 70′s and Chloe has paired them with high waisted wide-leg slacks. If you are a Recession Diva, you could easily get this runway look. I also noticed that Chloe’s fall line includes belted jackets, brocade pencil skirts and boots, or booties.
Gloves: I am actually very excited about this trend, because it is cute sophisticated and formal. I live in Southern California, though so I might have to wait until it is colder to try this trend.
Fur: I am an animal lover, so I will just rock my imitation black rabbit fur coat. I suppose it could still be humane, if the fur jacket is from a thrift store, and you pay to have it oiled and cleaned. You can buy imitation fur from a fabric store and add it to an existing outfit as an embellishment. (i.e. fur cuffed sleeves.)
Leopard: Has been in and it is not going anywhere. Even Oprah said, Every woman needs a pair of leopard ballet flats! Since Leopard doesn’t go with anything, it goes with everything! Well she was right. Leopard print was all over the run way at New Yorks Fashion week!
Leather Fringe Embellishment: This look is very South Western. I know you can buy leather fringe and add it to anything. This might be a trend worth getting creative over. It has been seen on the runway of Chloe and Moschino, two very different designers.
Cowboy Boots and Cowboy Hats: You do not have to wear these items together. On the runway these boots have been paired with literally everything, from business, to play, to formal dresses.
Velvet: Although camel and black have been dominate colors. Velvet in deep Autumn shades is an item worth seeking on your fall shopping list.
