P90x Week One… Bring It!
All I can say is ouch in a good way! I just finished the first week of P90x. I went from Winter to Winter and felt the need to shed a few cold weather pounds. It’s hard to stay active when it is dark and rainy and winter in August is miserable. What better way to fight off the Winter blues than a little P90. Now this is an honest review. I was not in the best of shape, but I passed their fit test and so began the lean workout. The first day was arms and chest my arms burned. Yoga X was the most intense yoga I have ever done an hour and a half long. The Cardio X and Kenpo X were great. I literally can see how women are able to fight off an attacker just from kick boxing this was great and if you became a pro at it you would be able to handle your own self-defense.
It is hard. It is achievable. It takes everything you have. They say just wake up and keep hitting play for a reason 6 days a week of extreme fitness is intense. They also say that if you do not follow the diet plan; you will be in the best shape of your life, but you won’t look it.
There is a whole video on how to bring it, because you have to come in full on. This workout is not for the faint of heart. I will say after you complete a workout, you fee like you are on top of the world.
